After recently relocating to Palm Beach…we feel so LUCKY to have found Lucky Mamas as soon as we did because this will be on our list of regular eats. A BYO restaurant with a wonderful warm vibe, I immediately noticed the authentic smells coming from the kitchen and tbh, it took me right back to travelling through Malaysia 🇲🇾 To start we ordered the traditional roti which was beautifully light and fluffy (just how it should be) and the garlic calamari, super fresh and coated in a light tempura style batter. For the main, it was recommended we try the Saltan’s Lamb which was incredible and my favourite dish of the night. We also had the Malaccan chicken curry which was gorgeously creamy, paired the Sambal green beans…you guys need to bottle that Sambal and sell it! 😆 Thank you Josh for your awesome hospitality and well done to the rest of the team for the impeccable service. We will see you again soon!

Thankgoodness we finally found where Tony went!!!! It was worth the 20minute drive..Yay to eating his amazing flakey Roti with satay & curry sauces, Chicken Satay sticks crispy on the outside but supa moist, then onto the huge creamiest flavoursome Laksa, shared with tasty Yangzhoy fried rice, the only little disappointment was the Licheon Kawaii, I was hoping & expecting for sauce to be covering it, pork was crispy but where was rhe deep sauce? We definitely will be back tho, BYO a positive

Tony, his family and crew run what is considered by many to be the best Mamak style Asian restaurant in the region.
I agree with them.
As an example, tonight, two of us had fresh Roti, and mains of Mallacan beef curry, and Ipoh beef curry with steamed rice.
It looked, smelled and tasted delicious, beautiful presentation and super nice service by really friendly people who enjoy seeing their customers having a great time.
The serves are huge, the ingredients fresh as, and we couldn't finish it all so they asked if we'd like to pack it up in take away containers.
You bet we did!
All this, and the bill was only $57.
It's semi licensed, as in you can buy beer and wine, and your welcome to bring your own wine which they don't mind putting in an ice bucket for you.
$2 corkage which is more than fair.
LUCKY MAMA!
Love it.
